Computers in Language Teaching

This page contains screenshots of the website I created from my MA Computer and Language Teaching course. The website had a homepage, an about me page (information about my background), an exercises page (exercises to practice English skills), a courses page (link to access Moodle course site), a links page (websites of interest), and a contact page.

Below is the exercises page. The samples of exercises on the topic "criminals" were created for low-intermediate level learners.

Crossword Puzzle Exercise:       

Learners have to read the numbered clues and type in the words in the appropriate box. There is a word box. There is a four minute timer in which to complete the exercise.

Listening Exercise:                       

Learners need to listen to the audio excerpt and follow along with the script to fill in all the gaps with the words they hear.

Vocabulary Matching Exercise:

Learners have to match the pictures with the correct words by selecting them from the drop-down menu. There is a one minute timer in which to complete the exercise.

Reading Exercise:                             

 Learners must read a short text and answer four multiple choice questions about the text. There is a five minutes timer in which to complete the exercise.

Scrambled Sentence Exercise:

Learners have to put the words in order to form a correct sentence with the provided jumbled words. There is a one minute timer in which to complete the exercise.
